I had an interesting conversation with my teenagers today on the way to school. "Mom did you know that a bladder can hold 900ml of liquid?" thank you grade 9 science. I had a litre bottle in the car so I handed it to her to show her how much that was. "Wow".
That had me thinking. We weigh ourselves daily sometimes and let the small fluctuations torment us but here it is....
For lunch, I had a 1/2 cup of beans (southern black not sweet) an omelet with cheese, and 1 piece of sourdough toast. After lunch, I walked for 25 minutes, and my blood sugar went to 7.2 and came right down. For a snack at 4:30 I had a string cheese and a baby yogurt and ..crickets...did not even budge my blood sugar sitting at my desk. Tonight we had homemade lasagna and my sugars went to 7.2 then I biked for 30 minutes and it came down. Interesting day.
Here is the starting point.
